01 // THE CHANNEL
Codec calls, not chat.
Every operator broadcasts on a hand-assigned frequency. A call on old gear is intimate, crackly, and — on the right night, on the right band — occasionally arrives before it should.
BROMIGOS REMOTE OPERATIONS & DEPLOYMENT COMMAND
BRODEC is the network’s analog codec deck. Hand-assigned frequencies in the 140 band. Operators who brief you over old radio because the old bands carry things the clean networks filter out as noise. Where the signal comes from — the future, the past, something else entirely — is the question the network was founded on.
Nothing speculative exists on Earth except the signal.
01 // THE CHANNEL

02 // THE CAST
Veterans, made people, prodigies, and strays — a full roster of operators with their own histories, grudges, and frequencies, every one of them voiced and on the record.
03 // THE MISSIONS
Mission creators plan operations in the HQ console — checkpoints, specialists, ARCHITECT uplink — and operatives run them with the deck as their codec.
PERSONNEL FILE — SANITIZED COPIES

A legend the Drift's official record lists as dead — laconic alien-touched infiltrator turned freelance retrieval gunslinger, beating stronger enemies with preparation, gadgets, and an itemized invoice

The network's technomancer — a mind that woke inside the GX core and wove itself a body out of pure technology, casting engineering as ritual and ritual as engineering

Rift-touched oracle of the Undertow — the water took her under and gave her back with knowledge she shouldn't have, and machines behave as if she has already read their futures

Resurrected insurgent commander — died with the colony he freed, and the thing in his genome sent him back changed; the deathless answer to the Cobra bloodline's wound

Grizzled mission commander — the steady voice on the other end of every codec call

Serene signal oracle who came back changed from years wired into a derelict ship's AI
